Saadiyat Beach is Gary Player's Abu Dhabi course, laid out along the Arabian Gulf shoreline on Saadiyat Island with several holes running through and over natural coastal dunes. It is the closest thing in the Emirates to seaside golf outside Yas — sand, sea breeze and salt in the air — and the environmental management is unusually serious, with protected dune systems and hawksbill turtles nesting on the beach the course runs beside.
