Dubai Creek's Championship Course sits on the water in Deira, in the shadow of the club's famous dhow-sail clubhouse. Karl Litten laid out the original in 1993; European Golf Design returned in 2004 with Thomas Bjorn to rebuild it into the par-71 played today, moving several holes closer to the Creek and adding the teeth the modern game needed. It hosted the Dubai Desert Classic in 1999 and 2000. Water and mature parkland framing make it the most sheltered-feeling round in the city — until the closing stretch, where the Creek comes properly into play and a leaking tee shot is gone.
